Pleiades

Since tonight was the first clear one in weeks, and there was no moon in the sky, I thought I'd take full advantage. Mind, it was freezing (about 14 degrees, plus pretty strong winds), so I had a lot of trouble concentrating. But I think these two came out all right (as always, click to embiggen).





You taught me the names of the stars overhead, that I wrote down in my ledger -
though all I knew of the rote universe were those Pleiades loosed in December...
